The goal here is to ensure that customers are utilizing their Room Alert hardware to the fullest extent. For example, if you invested in a<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/17163\/advanced-security-encryption-room-alert-32s\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Room Alert 32S<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, wouldn\u2019t you want to maximize the benefit of the over 32 external sensors that you have access to? The \u201cExternal Sensor Capacity\u201d makes it easier than ever for you to:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identify what percentage of your sensor ports you\u2019re currently using\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Populate a complete list of potential sensors to add<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submit quote requests<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place orders on<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.avtech.com\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AVTECH.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In your Room Alert Account dashboard on the left-hand side menu, you will find an option for \u201cMore Monitoring\u201d. This will direct you to the \u201cExternal Sensor Capacity\u201d page. Here you will see a bar that shows the percentage of sensor ports that are in use across all of your registered devices. To fill in the bar, you can choose \u201cSelections By Device\u201d or \u201cBulk Selections\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you choose \u201cSelections By Device\u201d, you will be prompted to select all of the sensors you have, going device by device. The bar will reflect the External Sensor Capacity for each device. \u201cBulk Selections\u201d is most suitable for large-scale applications that would take too long to go device by device. \u201cBulk Selections\u201d combines all of the external sensor capacity you have across all of your devices and organizes it by sensor type (Digital, Analog, Switch, and Light Tower &amp; Relay). The bar will reflect the External Sensor Capacity across all of your devices collectively.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/External_Sensor_Capacity_4-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/External_Sensor_Capacity_4-1-788x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23869\" width=\"286\" height=\"369\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you complete this page, you can see all of the available sensor capacity that you are not utilizing. To begin employing your unused capacity, you can select \u201cAdd a new Room Alert Monitor\u201d which will take you through a workflow of choosing your desired Room Alert monitor and sensors to populate it. Or you can customize a list of sensors to fill the bar to 100%.
