Add as many IP addresses \/ ranges to the scan as you&#8217;d like.<\/li><li>For each IP address \/ range that you wish to scan&#8230;<ul><li>In the first dropdown menu, select <strong>Range <\/strong>to scan a range of IP addresses or select <strong>Single <\/strong>to scan one IP address.<\/li><li>In the next dropdown menu, select either <strong>http <\/strong>or <strong>https<\/strong>, depending on the camera&#8217;s configured connection policy.<\/li><li>Then enter the IP address (or range) that you wish to scan.<\/li><li>In <em>port<\/em>, you may leave the default 80 (or 443 for HTTPS), or enter a different web port that your camera is configured to use.<\/li><li>When you&#8217;re done, select <strong>Add to Scan<\/strong>.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"268\" class=\"wp-image-22537\" style=\"width: 600px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_AddToScan.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_AddToScan.png 800w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_AddToScan-300x101.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_AddToScan-768x257.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The added IP address \/ range gets listed above. The first is configured with custom credentials. Therefore, its <em>Username <\/em>and <em>Password <\/em>fields are empty.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"391\" class=\"wp-image-22640\" style=\"width: 600px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_CustCredsCam2.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_CustCredsCam2.png 1140w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_CustCredsCam2-300x103.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_CustCredsCam2-1024x351.png 1024w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_CustCredsCam2-768x263.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1140px) 100vw, 1140px\" \/><\/li><\/ul><ul><li>The second camera is using default credentials. Therefore, Room Alert Manager automatically populated the default <em>Username <\/em>and <em>Password<\/em> and added the camera for us.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"391\" class=\"wp-image-22641\" style=\"width: 600px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_DefaultCreds2.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_DefaultCreds2.png 1140w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_DefaultCreds2-300x103.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_DefaultCreds2-1024x351.png 1024w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_DefaultCreds2-768x263.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1140px) 100vw, 1140px\" \/><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Valid credentials must be saved before adding Axis cameras to your <em>Inventory <\/em>list. <ul><li>For the camera using custom credentials, we need to enter its <em>Username <\/em>and <em>Password<\/em>, and then select <strong>Test<\/strong> to check that the credentials are valid.<br><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-22559\" style=\"width: 600px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/RAM_ScanForNewAxisModal_ScanResults_CustCreds_Test.png\" alt=\"\"><\/li><\/ul><ul><li>If Room Alert Manager is able to successfully connect to the camera with the entered credentials, the <strong>+Add<\/strong> button will appear.
