AVTECH is announcing that the Room Alert 4E and 4ER monitors have reached End-of-Life, effective May 31st 2021.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recommended replacement for the Room Alert 4E\/ER is the Room Alert 12S<\/a>\/SR<\/a>.<\/strong> Please click the links to learn more about AVTECH’s recommended replacement monitors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its initial release back in 2008, the Room Alert 4E and Room Alert 4ER have lived a long and productive life. Over the past 13 years, our customer environment monitoring needs have changed dramatically with an increasing emphasis on Cybersecurity, Business Continuity Planning, Business Resilience and Disaster Preparedness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2008 we\u2019ve developed more advanced and secure environment monitoring products such as the <\/span>Room Alert 32S<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Room Alert 12S<\/span><\/a> in our <\/span>Room Alert PRO Line<\/span><\/a>. These products provide secure connections, higher sensor capacity, better data protection and much<\/span> more. We specifically recommend the Room Alert 12S and Room Alert 12SR as a direct replacement for the Room Alert 4E and Room Alert 4ER thanks to its higher sensor capacity, data security features, and improved processing performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

In light of this announcement, we do pledge to continue to provide updated firmware for the Room Alert 4E and Room Alert 4ER for at least one year after the monitor is no longer sold. We will also continue to support all installed Room Alert 4E and Room Alert 4ER monitors indefinitely. Our Technical Support team is still happy to provide support and assistance to your facilities to ensure installed Room Alert 4E and Room Alert ER monitors continue to work at the highest level.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
