Below is the <em>Email Settings<\/em> form shown at defaults.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"964\" height=\"997\" class=\"wp-image-20425\" style=\"width: 450px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Default_Email.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Default_Email.png 964w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Default_Email-290x300.png 290w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Default_Email-768x794.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 964px) 100vw, 964px\" \/><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Enter your Sender settings.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>In <em>Send messages from<\/em>, enter the email address you want the alerts to come from. <ul><li>This email address must already exist on your mail server.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>In <em>Send messages in<\/em>, you may leave the default option, <em>HTML<\/em>, or select <em>Plain text<\/em>.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"662\" height=\"292\" class=\"wp-image-20449\" style=\"width: 350px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Email_Sender.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Email_Sender.png 662w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Email_Sender-300x132.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 662px) 100vw, 662px\" \/><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Enter your <em>Primary Mail Server<\/em> settings.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>In <em>Mail Server Hostname or IP Address<\/em>, enter the hostname or IP address of your mail server.<\/li><li>Select <em>Use TLS Encryption<\/em> if you mail server requires TLS.<ul><li>When this option is selected, the mail server port defaults to 587.<\/li><li>Otherwise the mail server port default to 25.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Select <em>Use Custom Mail Server Port<\/em> if your mail server uses a different port.<ul><li>Then enter your port number in <em>Mail Server Port<\/em>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>In <em>Server Communication Timeout<\/em>, you may change the timeout value if needed.<ul><li>Typically, you leave the&nbsp;<em>Timeout<\/em>&nbsp;at the default,&nbsp;5.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Select <em>Use Authentication<\/em> if the return address email account requires a username and password. Then enter your <em>username <\/em>and <em>password<\/em>.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"662\" height=\"622\" class=\"wp-image-20450\" style=\"width: 350px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Email_Primary.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Email_Primary.png 662w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/RAM_Email_Primary-300x282.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 662px) 100vw, 662px\" \/><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4 (Optional): Configure a <em>Backup Mail Server<\/em>.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You may configure a backup mail server if you wish.
