If you previously had an <em>Inactive<\/em> alert saved in your account, it was automatically converted to a <em>Not Pushing<\/em> alert. Although the alert looks a little different, it does the same job.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"su-row\"><div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-2\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">By default, your Room Alert Monitor pushes sensor data to RoomAlert.com on a schedule of once per hour. This means that your account is no longer receiving the most up-to-date sensor data from the device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a number of factors that can cause your device to stop pushing to RoomAlert.com. alert on your:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li> <strong>Device<\/strong>: to notify you if your RoomAlert.com account stops receiving all push data from your Room Alert Monitor. <\/li><li> <strong>Sensor<\/strong>: to notify you if your RoomAlert.com account stops receiving  data for an individual sensor.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"su-tabs-pane su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" data-title=\"Best practices\">\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Device<\/strong>: We recommend setting up a <em>Not Pushing<\/em> alert on your Room Alert Monitor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Why?<\/strong> If the device stops pushing, then your RoomAlert.com account will not receive any updated sensor data. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sensors (Internal)<\/strong>: It&#8217;s usually not necessary to set up <em>Not Pushing<\/em> alerts on your device&#8217;s internal sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Why?<\/strong> As long as your device is pushing data to the account, all of its enabled internal sensors should be pushing too. <ul><li> Depending on the Room Alert model, these include the device&#8217;s internal digital sensors, internal analog sensors and switch sensors.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sensors (External)<\/strong>: It&#8217;s a good idea to set up <em>Not Pushing<\/em> alerts on external digital sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Why?<\/strong> This way, you&#8217;ll know if your sensor becomes disconnected from the Room Alert Monitor.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-fancy su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Configuring a 'Not Pushing' alert<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n\n\n\n<p>Set up your <em>Not Pushing<\/em> alert with the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trigger Alert when\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"su-row\"><div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-6\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong>Device<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"su-column su-column-size-5-6\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n\n\n\n<p><em>Your&nbsp;Room Alert Monitor name<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"su-row\"><div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-6\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong>Sensor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"su-column su-column-size-5-6\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n\n\n\n<p><em>Choose &#8220;Device&#8221; Because scheduled pushes occur at one hour intervals after the last successful push, the alert will take approximately 2 hours to trigger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Need to be notified sooner?
